Thank you for the most interesting article on my father – Cyril Webster. The details and accuracy of the article was amazing after all these years.
I still go to all the Everton Matches with my two sons and two of my grandchildren – we are all season ticket holders. I still have a number of programmes from 1920’s and 30’s at a time he was a regular player in the Central League.
When he retired in 1938, Everton published a two page article on his career in the match programme versus Derby County on May 7th 1938.
Thank you for the article – it brought back many memories.
